Steven R Holloway

For dance anywhere® 2014 artist, geographer and teacher, Steven Holloway will dance in the hills outside of Chewelah, Northeast Washington. Steven participates in dance anywhere® each year as he enjoys this opportunity to stop and create art in nature. For past dance anywhere® performances he has danced with children at an elementary school in Oakland, CA, on Mt. Sentinel, WA, at Oakland City Hall and in the glaciated Colville River Valley, WA, among other locations. Holloway is a teacher of the visual and observational arts, mapping ethics, and stone and plate lithography. His art practice “involves the beauty of the world”. His passions include wilderness canoeing, world music, media arts, cartography and many more. His work “explores the joyous and beautiful body of this earth”.
