Junius Courtney Big Band DANCE!

The Junius Courtney Big Band with Denise Perrier is celebrating the kick-off of our 50th Anniversary Season with a DANCE at the Freight and Salvage Coffeehouse in Berkeley, CA. The party begins at 8:00 PM at 2020 Addison Street, downtown Berkeley near Shattuck. We're updating the dance band motif our leader Junius Courtney started with his combos at country clubs where he broke the color line, and his gala dances with the full big band under the chandelier at the Shattuck Hotel. A full dance floor will be open for stompin'and there's plenty of comfy, seating, too. Great snacks and drinks. All ages welcome. All levels of dancers encouraged to participate!
