Cheng says, &#8220;It turned out *really* well!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>As the clock struck noon, Cheng left his office in the Old Pac Bell building, San Francisco for his &#8220;Lunch Break&#8221;. His improvisation, entitled &#8220;Lunch Break&#8221; is a series of highly kinetic modern contemporary movements performed in a suit and tie. I draw my inspiration from various artists such as Nacho Duato, NDT, Alonzo King, and most recently Guillaume Cote of the National Ballet of Canada. My works tend to lean towards the kinesthetic side, incorporating elements of ballet, modern dance, straight and curved lines, as well as fluid movements of the spine&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Cheng holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of California at Santa Barbara (2008), and trained in Lines Ballet&#8217;s Pre-Professional Summer Intensive Program (2006) and ODC&#8217;s Professional Audition Workshop (2006).
