Argentine tango enlivened the Utrecht city center in celebration of Dance Anywhere as dancers from Cielito performed an elaborate routine for passerby.

Cielito, an organization based in Utrecht, the Netherlands, supports and propagates argentine tango and culture. The organization supports all things argentine including a performance troupe that instructs amateur dancers at an advanced level.

Ciellto was inspired to participate in Dance Anywhere because they often dance in the street or in unusual venues for tango. The troupe’s next performance is in a forest in the wilderness of the Netherlands. A choreographer for the organization says, “The dance anywhere experience is one of many times we get people out in the public to perform. Getting the awareness of the dance and argentine dance, out there to more and more people is really important”.
