Alex Ketley and the Foundry will be joining dance anywhere® on March 18th

Alex Ketley, the co-founder of the dance company The Foundry of San Francisco and the resident choreographer of the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, will be participating in dance anywhere® on March 18th, 2011.

“I am very excited to participate in Dance Anywhere simultaneously from Leipzig, Germany, and in San Francisco. I think getting work out of the confines of traditional performances spaces is both thrilling and necessary.” Alex Ketley

Company members Amy Jane Dressendorfer and Sarah Cates Lyman will be dancing on BART from Civic Center to Powell Street and back.

This year, Alex Ketley is creating work new work in San Francisco, Germany, New York, Colorado and Texas . He was also received the National Eden Demarest from the Pittsburgh Foundation to support his new project “No Heroes”.
